People: Who Is Blanche Bailly A.K.A “Queen Mimba”?

Bailly Larinette Tatah AKA Blanche Bailly is a Cameroonian afro pop musician.

This young artist did her primary education in the South-West region of Cameroon. At the age of 12 she travelled to France where she obtained her Certificate of Elementary Primary Studies (now CEP).

Being a member of the music club of her school and a choir singer at her church, she developed passion for music at a very tender age. The year 2015 marked her official entry in to the world of music. She released her first single “Killa” produced by the Londonian Ayo Beatz.

In 2016, she did a video cover of the song “Sawa Romance” by Locko.

Her single “Kam We Stay” is among the top songs of the moment, making her one of the most prominent Afropop female artists. Through this song she denounces the illegal cohabitation of couples and encourages them to adopt the conventional procedures starting from the traditional to the official.

Her track “Mimbayeur” featuring rapper Mink’s is the piece that consolidated her rise to the top with over a million YouTube views.

Her latest single “DINGUO”, however, is driving her fans crazy over social media. With it’s video announced for the weeks ahead, this track will surely be another success for Miss Dinguo.

The artist unlike many, is not limited to singing. Blanche Bailly recently launched her clothing line “Queen Mimba”.
